The Equipment Rental Coordinator is the first person you see when you walk into a Durante Rentals branch or dial the Durante Rentals phone number. The ideal person for this role is energetic, eager to help, and hungry to learn and grow their career.
The Equipment Rental Coordinator is responsible for supporting telephone and walk-in customers with rentals of all types of construction/industrial equipment. This position is considered the Companys front line of contact with the customer, whose purpose is to understand customer equipment needs, negotiate and place orders. The role also requires strong administrative skills and an ability to deliver customer satisfaction through a professional attitude at all times.
Position Requirements **Key Job Responsibilities**
* Process rental quotes, reservations, and contracts
* Supports all incoming phone calls
* Identify customer needs and coordinate team actions to help resolve and satisfy requests with superior customer service
* Maximize revenue by advising customers on the selection, operation, and maintenance of various types of equipment
* Communicate with dispatch to ensure timely delivery of equipment to construction sites.
* Work directly with sales team to support the outside sales reps, provide leads on new business prospects
* Become an expert in in the equipment rental industry
**Education and Experience Requirements**
* 1+ years of experience working in operational capacity that involves cross functional team collaboration preferred
* Construction equipment and/or Rental-Style company knowledge a plus!
* Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
**Skills**
* Strong communication skills, with internal teams and customers
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
* Team player
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Attention to details
