Join the team at a great company as a warehouse associate in Durham, NC. As a warehouse associate, in an ever-changing warehouse environment, you are a vital part of the process. The warehouse associate is responsible for loading and unloading the material to the equipment. **Position Summary:**
**Responsibilities:**
* Reads work order or follows verbal instructions to ascertain materials or components.
* Responsible for feeding or piling down materials at equipment
* The production operator will count, weighs, and record the number of units of materials moved or handled on a daily production sheet.
* Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
* May use automated equipment and/or occasionally operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
* Stock, move, arrange, and rotate items in accordance with operating instructions.
**Req uirements:**
* Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions
* Maintain the production pace of other team members
* Attention to detail
* Able to complete appropriate forms relating to stock description, quantity, unit of issue, and the labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing materials
* Good skill in the use of powered lift equipment, pallet jacks, manual dollies, carts or hand trucks, and hand tools used in material handling tasks
