Job Description:
Responsible forteaching Aqua classes of varying formats
Must complywith stipulations set by American Arthritis Foundations and generally acceptedaquatic standards and guidelines.
Duties andResponsibilities:
Develop safe and effective aquaticexercise classes for groups of various fitness levels.
Responsible for instructing allaquatic fitness participants, and giving appropriate options and modifications.
Plan routines, select music, andchoose appropriate movements for well balanced, whole body workouts.
Provide safe and effectiveinstruction of equipment used during class.
Maintain the safety of aquatic classparticipants.
Maintain and record participantinformation and data.
Act immediately and appropriately tosecure safety of patrons in the event of emergency.
Presents professional appearance andattitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service.
Attends mandatory meetings andtraining sessions as scheduled.
Certifications/Requirements:
Must hold current aquaticcertification from recognized and accredited board or organization.
Must have current CPR/AEDcertification.
Hours:
Varied, including evenings andweekends.
