ATC Healthcare is looking for part time Recreational Therapists in Westland, MI to work in an in-patient facility with pediatric patients aged 7-18. This is a contracted weekend position with opportunity to become a full-time, permanent role.
Shifts: Day shift 10a - 6:30p Saturday and Sunday ONLY (for the foreseeable future)
Wage- $27 Hourly
Job Description
The Recreational Therapist utilizes recreation and other activity-based interventions to address the assessed needs of pediatric patients with illnesses and/or disabling conditions.

Will work alongside ful ltime RT staff to run groups designed by our team focused on sports cardio, creative expression, self-esteem, social skills, etc.

May be requirements to intervene for safety.
Must be physically ably engage in activities designed for both developmental level and psychiatric condition.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Recreational Therapy
- Current Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS)
The ideal candidate will have at least one (1) year of experience providing RT groups to children and adolescents.
