We offer a competitive starting base wage of $19.25/Hr.PLUS a$1/Hr. Night Shift Differentialand regular increases.Our complete benefits package includes health, dental, vision, PTO, paid holidays, an impressive 401K match, and much more!Areas of AccountabilityAll areas of accountability to be delivered with GRIT - our values of Generosity, Relationships, Integrity, and TeamworkSanitation (Equipment and Production Floor) Safety and Quality ComplianceEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork safely, comply and enforce all company and regulatory safety/environmental policies, practices and proceduresPerform general cleaning and sanitation tasks as assignedDisassemble and reassemble equipment parts that require cleaningComplete Sanitation as directed by Daily, Weekly and Monthly schedules.Work with standard cleaning and sanitation chemicalsDocument task completion status in sanitation logSweep, mop and sanitize warehouse and production floorsWash and sanitize equipment parts, carts, bins, barrels, utensils etc.Empty production trash bins and vacuumsOperate floor scrubbing equipmentParticipate in weekly and monthly deep cleaning activitiesKeep QA Manager informed of any issues that ariseTrain and assist in other departments or throughout facility to provide additional coverage, as neededSituations may arise that require employees to temporarily or permanently assume responsibility for tasks not specifically outlined in this job description. Employees may be requested to work additional hours and/or accommodate a heavier than normalworkload.High school diploma or general education degree (GED), preferred1-3 years experience in sanitation in a manufacturing environment; preferably food manufacturingAbility to perform tasks independently and make key decisions to assure quality and food safety procedures are metHigh level of attention to detail and surroundingsAbility to communicate and proficiently maintain accurate recordsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basisAbility to stand, walk, bend, and climb, frequentlyAbility to work day/evening/night shifts/weekends and/or extra hours, as neededAbility to tolerate varying environmental conditions; wet, slippery conditions; and confined space
