Description
Part Time: Monday, Tuesday, 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. Wednesday & Thursday 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as dish and pot washing, general kitchen cleaning, and the storing of food and non-food supplies. Assist with food preparation and plating when necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible forest-up and maintenance of dish and pot washing areas.
- Responsible for cleaning and storing all pots, dishes, and utensils.
- Clean production equipment as needed or directed by supervisor.
- Remove rubbish from building on a regular basis.
- Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards.
- Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
- Practice all safety and loss prevention procedures.
- Attend all in-services as required.
- Perform all other reasonable tasks assigned by your supervisor.

Educational Requirements and Experience: - High school diploma or equivalent, but not necessary
- Must be able to read and write
- Follow instructions with a positive attitude
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Willingness to work with elderly in a senior living environment
- Effectively communicate with Residents, guests, employees, and supervisors
- Must be able to work all Holidays and for pre-planned special events
ENVIRONMENTAL ADAPTABILITY - Works primarily indoors in a climate controlled setting
- Possible exposure to unpleasant odors
- Possible exposure to chemicals as identified in the SDS Manual
- Continuous exposure to residents who are ill, confused, irritable and irrational
