Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Physician Assistant with a minimum of two years of dermatology experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care, conducting assessments, diagnosing skin conditions, and assisting in various dermatological procedures under the supervision of our dermatologists.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough dermatological assessments and patient consultations.
- Perform diagnostic procedures such as skin biopsies, cultures, and patch testing.
- Assist in surgical procedures including excisions, cryotherapy, and laser treatments.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with dermatologists.
- Prescribe medications, topical therapies, and skincare regimens as needed.
- Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including dermatologists, nurses, and support staff.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification and licensure as a Physician Assistant.
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience in dermatology practice.
- Proficiency in conducting dermatological assessments, procedures, and treatments.
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to formulate effective treatment plans.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
