Responsibilities & Qualifications
Due to tremendous growth throughout the company, we are seeking a Maintenance Technician with critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to join our team!
- Paid Weekly
- Medical/Vision/Dental benefits in 60 days or less
- 401K in 30 days
- 11:30am-8pm Monday - Thurs and Fridays 8am-4:30pm (flexibility on Fridays)
- $21-$28.00 to start based upon experience
- Entry level is acceptable with the aptitude and curiousity to learn
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing industrial laundry equipment and machinery.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventive measures, as well as respond to downtime incidents and make repairs
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, making necessary repairs or replacements.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment inventory.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to create a secure work environment.
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and protocols.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - Working knowledge, education or experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Electrical systems
- Mechanical systems
- Hydraulic & pneumatic systems
- Plumbing
- Carpentry
- HVAC
- Welding
- Piping systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
- High school diploma or equivalent or technical school training preferred
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
- Regular, consistent attendance of scheduled shifts is required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Working conditions are typical for a manufacturing environment
- Work involves ability to lift materials up to 50 pounds
- Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and work boots
