Job Description: Pay is $30-$45 per hour 4-month assignment (can extend based on need and performance). Fully remote role (EST Time Zone work schedule) Provide financial operations recommendations relating to seller onboarding and seller payments, especially for the required split payments supporting this company's programs and partners. Recommendations will be focused on compliance with money transmitter laws, general credit card processing standards, and parent company controllership requirements. Create accounting documentation with key controls and future testing recommendations to ensure controls are effective and perform cost benefit analysis for projects, as necessary. Qualifications: Prior experience working for an e-commerce merchant or SaaS marketplace operations company is highly desired. Bachelor's degree is required, Accounting Degree is preferred. Prior experience implementing new workflows and compliance documentation for e-commerce marketplace operations and / or prior experience auditing e-commerce marketplace operations is required. Familiarity with compliance of money transmitter laws, and credit card standards for an e-commerce company is preferred. Payment's experience - worked in eCommerce world and understands payments (credit, debit, apple pay, etc) cash operations of compliance is required.
