JOB TITLE: Inside Sales Representative

REPORTS TO: Vice President of Partnerships & Strategic Alliances

SUMMARY

At Klas Government we re looking for an exceptional individual to join our team and support the Growth team to facilitate and support sales efforts. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in generating sales leads, engaging with prospective clients, and closing sales deals while collaborating closely with engineering and account executives to ensure that quotes to customers are accurately architected. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for understanding customer needs, coordinating with internal teams, and providing technical expertise to deliver tailored hardware solutions that meet client requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead Generation: Proactively identify and qualify sales leads through research, cold calling, email campaigns, and other lead generation activities.

Client Engagement: Initiate contact with prospective clients, conduct product presentations, and demonstrate the value of our hardware solutions to address their specific requirements.

Sales Negotiation: Effectively communicate product features, pricing, and terms to negotiate and close sales deals in collaboration with Engineering and Account Executives. Push and sell KlasKare renewals.

Technical Consultation: Collaborate with Engineering and Account Executives to understand customer needs, provide technical guidance, and ensure that quotes and proposals are accurately architected to meet client specifications.

Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.

Sales Support: Partner closely with Engineering and Account Executives to develop comprehensive solutions, prepare accurate quotes, and support the sales process from initial inquiry to final contract negotiation.

Pipeline Management: Effectively manage sales pipeline by tracking sales activities, updating customer information in the CRM system, and providing accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.

Product Knowledge: Remain updated on industry trends, product features, and competitive offerings to effectively communicate the value proposition of our hardware solutions to customers.

Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Account Executives, management, and operations. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor s degree from four-year college or university, or High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience and/or training. A combination of education and experience will be considered on a holistic basis.

3-5 years of experience as an Inside Seller for a hardware technology OEM or a Value-Added Reseller for a hardware OEM within the federal space.

Strong proficiency with SAP, Salesforce and SharePoint is required.

Substantial experience with Concur, ADP and Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills and a general knowledge of U.S. GAAP regulations.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly and persuasively.

Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to handle objections and overcome challenges.

Ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and results-driven with a customer-focused growth mindset.

Must be a citizen of the United States of America and can obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance.

Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.

While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
