Position: Principal Structural Engineer
Location: Denver, Colorado
Terms: Full-Time
Metric are seeking a structural expert who is keen to make their mark in the structural engineering market as a seller-doer with a Top ENR Design Firm and one of our leading partners.
As the Structural Principal you will work directly with a dynamic leadership team to lead and grow an entire department with support and expertise of the existing structural team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead Business Development efforts - acquiring new and expanding existing clients
- Serve as a key liaison between clients and your department, adeptly conducting meetings representing the excellence of your team
- Develop and oversee all Operations of the structural engineering department - project and team management, technical review, proposals and budgets
Qualifications:
- Strong business development acumen
- PE License in Colorado
- 15+ years of structural design experience
- 5+ years of project management experience
- Previous business development experience
- Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
- NCEES record and SE License (preferred)
Additional:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed (US driving license required)
