Schedule - 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 3pm - 11:30pm *Candidates would need to train on 1st shift 8:00am-4:30pm during initial training period.

Job Overview:

An Inventory & Production Technician is responsible for ensuring efficient management of inventory levels and optimizing supply chain operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining appropriate stock levels and inventory accuracy to meet customer demands. The technician receives and issues parts by utilizing various software tools and collaborates with other teams to ensure the availability.

Key Responsibilities & Outcomes

Inventory Management:
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting regular audits and reconciliations.
  • Ensure the availability of products to meet customer demands without overstocking or stockouts.
  • Track and manage order deliveries to ensure on-time arrivals and inventory replenishment.

Stock Optimization:
  • Regularly review inventory turnover rates and make recommendations for stock optimization.

Data Analysis:
  • Utilize inventory management software and analytics tools to monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory turnover, fill rates, and accuracy.
  • Generate reports to assess inventory health and make data-driven decisions.

Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with various teams, including procurement, logistics, sales, and production, to coordinate inventory planning activities.

Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards related to inventory management.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and purchases.

Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in inventory management and contribute to the development of more efficient practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in inventory management.


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in inventory management, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of inventory optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
