POSITION: MAINTENANCE - SKILLED WORKER
LOCATION: Platte Canyon School District - District Facilities
SCHEDULE: 9 hours per day//4 days per week/197 days
SALARY: $23.00 per hour. Based on 2023-2024 salary schedule for Classified Support Staff.

Sick/Personal days earned at 1 day for every 20 days worked

REPORTS TO: Director of Facilities
QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will have:
- Well-rounded skills in the areas of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, wells and septic, security, and grounds maintenance.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics with good trouble shooting and problem solving skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Safety training, supervisory skills. self initiative, team member.
- Good physical health with the ability to lift 50 lbs.
- First Aid and CPR certificate or ability to obtain one.
- " Clear" background check through submission of fingerprint card to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation,and Background Information Services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overall maintenance of District Facilities
- Plumbing - plumbing fixtures, pumps, pipes, drains, and septic
- Electrical - motors, lights, line voltage circuits, controls (24V/120V)
- Mechanical - HVAC/R systems/Preventative Maintenance, pneumatics, DDC controls
- Small Engine, equipment - preventative maintenance and repairs
- Carpentry - framing, doors, remodels, drywall
- Security - locks, keys
- Grounds Maintenance - grass cutting, irrigation systems, snow removal
- Roofing - preventative maintenance repairs
- Automotive - preventative maintenance and repairs
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Facilities
