Home Health HR Assistant
The human resources generalist will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, and will help with important functions such as staffing, training and development.
- Assists Branch Administrators with required Employee Documents
- Conducts Audits of Employee Files
- Assists with conducting and coordinating Employee Satisfaction Surveys and Exit Interviews and makes actionable recommendations based on data
- Manage the organization's employee HRIS system and prepare reports.
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
- Performs all onboarding activity.
- Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
- Prepares and monitors employee trends and productivity reports
- Manages contracts related to Employees, i.e. travel nurses, staffing contracts
- Assist with all internal and external HR-related matters.
- Support Home Health Branch Administrators with Employee orientation
- Payroll support
- Other duties as assigned.
An ideal candidate would have:
- 2 - 5 years experience in a Human Resources position
- Understanding of Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
- Efficient HR administration and people management skills.
- Excellent record-keeping skills.
- Knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
- Computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office and related HR software.
- Remarkable organizational and conflict management skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced knowledge of HRIS and ability to learn new technical systems, when necessary
- Meticulous attention to detail.
Working Conditions:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally as needed.
