Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Coordinator, Scientific & Medical Diagnostic Kits
Location: Springfield, NJ
Hours/Schedule: M-F, 8 am - 5 pm
Type: 6 month contract to hire
Overview:
We are looking for someone who enjoys working as a shipping and receiving coordinator.This position will be conveniently located in Springfield NJ, and it is on site with a growing company with high quality and well known scientific and medical diagnostic kits.In this position, you would be working in the medical field and helping people domestically and around the world. If you are attentive to detail, learn quickly and have a solid work ethic you will fit in well here!
Responsibilities
- Reviewing orders for shipments
- Carefully staging orders for shipments with an eye for accuracy
- Troubleshoot staging and shipping, provide assistance with picking and packing
- Packaging and prepping diagnostic kits to be shipped out
- Work closely with quality and labeling teams
- Managing day to day shipping logistics domestically and globally.
- Receiving duties: Match COA's to kits that are coming in (tracking lots, expiration, and other data, assessing information and entering data into a computer system
Requirements:
- Strong computer knowledge
- Data entry skills, attentive to detail, problem solver, quick learner
- Shipping and receiving experience
- Experience working in a warehouse that supported products such as medical diagnostic equipment, medical testing kits, medical supplies, medical devices, pharmaceuticals or similar products, a plus
- Experience with FedEx ship manager, UPS World Ship
- Ability to work in a team environment and a self starter
- Educational requirement:HS Diploma
