Position Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Position Overview: Industrial Maintenance Technician
- Periodic inspection of machinery, function, and process quality.
- Troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment such as motors, pumps, pneumatics, and production machines and equipment using hand tools, and precision measuring and testing devices.
- Perform maintenance, improvements, training, and repair of process equipment.
- Suggest and evaluate new ways of working, layouts, tools, to increase productivity.
Responsibilities Include:
- Proposal and implementation of technical improvements and optimization of equipment
- Training of employees with respect to machine operation, set-up, etc.
- Conduct regular inspections (boiler, air compressor, machine calibration etc.)
- Responsible for cleanliness of tools, maintenance shop, spare part storage and all other technical areas
- Identification of hazards, implementation of safety measures and compliance OSHA regulations
- The job holder might be assigned to other tasks and duties needed and if necessary
Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude drilling, tapping, installation, tuning, adjusting, torque specs, etc.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient Electrical knowledge (230-480v 3ph, 120vAC, 24vDC)
- Elementary Pneumatics and Hydraulics knowledge
- Preferred steam and boiler operation knowledge
- Basic VFD/PLC knowledge
- Outside-of-the box thinking
- Ability to use power tools.
- Basic knowledge of office and internet software
- Self-starter able to work well as a team and independently.
- Good verbal and written communication
- Forklift operation
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- 3-4 years working in an industrial maintenance/repair position.
- 2-3 years machine operation
- Associate or high school degree in an applicable technical field
- Flexibility to work odd hours including weekends with short notice.
- Ability to stand/walk up to 8 hours.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, crouch, reach, and crawl.
- Ability to work in hot and humid environments
