Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. The Assistant Manager will collaborate closely with the General Manager to ensure seamless day-to-day operations, provide leadership and support to our technicians, and uphold our commitment to delivering excellence in service.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to management staff and their direct reports to ensure the delivery of high-quality service and maintenance of professional standards.
- Cultivate a positive and collaborative team environment, fostering open communication and continuous improvement.
Operations Management:
- Assist in yearly, quarterly, and monthly planning and forecasting to ensure efficient allocation of resources and support company growth.
- Address operational issues or challenges promptly, implementing effective solutions to optimize productivity and customer satisfaction.
Customer Service Excellence:
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, managing inquiries, and resolving service-related issues with professionalism and efficiency.
- Proactively solicit feedback from customers to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience.
Administrative Support:
- Collaborate with the General Manager on budget planning, financial analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role within the home services industry; plumbing & HVAC preferred but not required.
- Strong experience growing a residential services business both in revenue and profitability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Proven organizational and time management abilities, with a focus on prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and experience with industry-specific software is preferred.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record and background.
