General Requirements

Candidates must have a customer first attitude and be willing to do whatever it takes to support the strong team. Good computer skills and the ability to learn computer programs related to sales, inventory management, and shipping software packages is required. These programs will be used daily. The willingness and ability to learn about technical products and assist customers with questions about those products is required. Extensive training will be provided.

All applicants should have a high school diploma or a GED. Certification in the safe operation of a forklift truck is not necessary is considered a plus.


Warehouse worker applicants should have prior experience working in a warehouse. Experience of 2 to 3 years in a similar role is preferred.


Candidate must be able to work on their feet for a full 8-hour day and lift a minimum of 60 pounds. Picking orders, packaging, and shipping completed orders as they come in are the primary tasks of the job. The position also requires the candidate to work outside in the yard to help customers with product selection and loading in all types of weather conditions.

Building and grounds maintenance are the responsibility of the warehouse staff. Candidate may be required to shovel snow or operate a snow blower in all the areas around the building. Keeping the yard, dock and other areas around the building clean and tidy are part of the everyday duties.

From time to time, the need to answer the phone and assist customers or take messages will be required.
