Truck Transport is a leading national provider of professional truck relocation services. J&J Driveaway primarily serves large corporate truck dealers and OEMs with fast, safe and reliable door-to-door driveaway service nationwide. Services include transporting via single, boom or deck/piggyback method from coast to coast.

Requirements

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage team of dispatchers to ensure efficient load planning, on time vehicle delivery, and adherence to pay and profitability guidelines
• Handle escalations from dispatch team, drivers, and sales team, and proactively communicate and solve operational challenges and unexpected hurdles
• Train and coach the dispatch team on best practices, process improvements, and technology enhancements to maximize productivity and capacity
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned drivers, facilitating efficient, timely, and profitable load plans
• Dispatch drivers to provide prompt and on time truck delivery
• Proactively engage with drivers to identify additional opportunities to dispatch, manage issues, and ensure safe transportation
• Identify opportunities to maximize capacity, grow market share with key accounts, and minimize deadhead for drivers
• Maintain regular engagement with internal stakeholders to ensure Truck Transport is meeting needs and expectations
• Keep up to date on industry trends and competitive intelligence
• Grow Truck Transport reputation as the driveaway company of choice across the United States

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• College degree strongly preferred (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of dispatch management experience, including a track record of growth and success
• Strong background in transportation, logistics or related fields required
• Experience with Federal transportation rules and regulations
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Solid financial acumen and understanding of profit and loss and developing quotes
• High energy, enthusiasm and drive for achieving results
• Passionate about safety and customer experience
• Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, recognizing a sense of urgency and self-motivation
• Experience with TMW Suite is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year depending on experience

Bonus: Up to 15% based on company performance
