Working within the Photography team and reporting to the Photography & Video Manager, the Sample Assistant will be an invaluable asset to the day to day running of the Studio and Photography & Video team. First and foremost you will manage the Photography sample set and associated administrative tasks, working closely with your team and other departments to ensure deadlines are met and everything is prepared in advance of photoshoots. Youll also act as a runner on location shoots (2-3 per month) and assist the Stylist in helping to dress the models between shots.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an interest in fashion and styling and willingness to learn to join a fast paced team in a British lifestyle brand on the beautiful Cornish coast.

*Please note this role is primarily based in one of our head office locations (Falmouth or Redruth) with occasional remote working.*

**You'll help us by:**

* Working as a team, helping to manage the photography sample set by ensuring all products are labelled, kept tidy and in launch order on the rail.

* Tracking borrowed samples and liaising with other departments when needing to borrow from their set.

* Helping to unpack and log new season samples and store on rails.

* Racking up products for photoshoots (with a focus on model shoots). Collating samples and sourcing missing samples from other departments sets where needed.

* Using product system to log new samples and check sample comments, ensuring only correct samples are being photographed. Ensuring all team members are aware of any relevant changes.

* Grouping products into outfits for photoshoots using shot sheets provided. Steaming garments in advance of shoots.

* Attend location shoots as a runner, help the stylist dress the models and keep the sample set organised whilst on the shoot. Getting stuck in and lending a hand where needed.

* Driving the location van on shoots.

* Helping to ensure the studio environment is kept clear and tidy before and after photoshoots.

* Helping to pack up samples to return to the warehouse at the end of the season. Following correct procedures for transfer orders and ensuring all items are accounted for.

* Assisting the Stylist in booking product meetings to run through approved samples and sample issues. Having an overarching knowledge of all samples and any potential issues.

* Assisting Photography department with answering calls, filing and general administration as and when required.

* Adhering to the Photoshoot Critical Path at all times.

* Ensuring daily queries and e-mails are answered efficiently.

* Establishing and maintaining close relations with all other departments.

**The skills you'll be sharing with the team:**

We are looking for someone that has an interest in styling and strong administrative skills, including an excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and precision whilst being able to work at pace and adapt to changes quickly. Youll be hardworking, proactive, able to use your own initiative and think on your feet. A team player who is happy to roll up their sleeves when needed, youll be highly collaborative and able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.

Youll also need excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and strong IT skills including Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel. With experience of managing others to deadlines, youll have the confidence to engage with colleagues across the business and follow up as needed.

Please note due to the nature of the role, candidates must have a driving licence and will be based in our Falmouth studio full time.
