Job Summary/Description:

Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

- Report, shoot, write and edit sports stories and segments for WANF, WPCH, and PSN (Peachtree Sports Network) as well as digital and social platforms
- Produce sports segments and specials for broadcast and digital platforms
- Co-host daily streaming sports talk show
- Operate camera and LiveU for talent live shots
- Maintain sources and contacts to generate story ideas and exclusive content
- Fill-in as sports anchor
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years experience working in a television newsroom sports department REQUIRED, 5 years experience or more PREFERRED- This IS NOT an entry-level position
- A degree in journalism or a related communication field REQUIRED
- Experience using ENPS and Edius PREFERRED
- Must be capable of working under pressure and meeting daily deadlines in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- Must possess strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently
- Must work well independently and as part of a team
- Must be coachable and open to feedback
- Experience covering (and/or playing) the following PREFERRED: college football, NFL, MLB, NBA, WNBA, golf, hockey, soccer, lacrosse, and other professional/ semi-professional sports
- Scheduling flexibility REQUIRED
- Some travel REQUIRED
- Must provide a link to samples of recent work - videography, writing, editing, producing, on-air
