Job Description
Our client, a leading meat company, is currently seeking an accomplished Maintenance Mechanic to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:
1) Perform preventive maintenance inspection and service on machines
2) Identify the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines
3) Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts
4) Clean, organize, inventory, stock and otherwise maintain shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies
5) Maintain a safe and clean work environment
6) Prepare reports documenting work performed
7) Coordinate with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines
8) Make necessary modifications and implement tests runs
9) Perform other related duties as assigned
Critical Requirements
1) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
2) Recent experience in the meat industry is strongly preferred
3) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in maintenance
