**Overview**

We have a position open for a Lead Chef Instructor to teach both culinary students and home cooks at either our North Tustin or Santa Ana locations. The position is full-time, and we anticipate the Lead Chef Instructor to work approximately 40-50 hours per week, depending on class schedule and private events. We are looking for a chef that will help us with programming development and expand our quickly growing business.

At CulinaryLab, we hire chefs with solid experience who have a passion for teaching. We are looking for a patient "people person" with relevant experience and strong leadership skills. Serious cooking chops and professional kitchen experience are a must.

**Qualifications**

* Minimum 8 years of professional kitchen experience

* Minimum 3 years in the role of Chef de Cuisine or higher

* Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a classroom setting

**Responsibilities**

* Teach hands-on cooking classes for home cooks, culinary students, and corporate event clients

* Develop curriculum for classes using a variety of apps and programs, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and online resources

* Curriculum development

* Tutorial video creation

* Assisting with various administrative tasks for the Director of Education

**Salary**

* $60K-70k per year, based on experience, plus benefits

**Benefits**

* 12 paid and 80 hours of PTO

* 5-day work weeks

**Schedule**

* Schedule will vary; CulinaryLab offers classes seven days per week
