Position Title Allied Health Adjunct Instructor FLSA Non-Exempt FT/PT Part Time Hours Per Week varies Work Schedule online and evenings and weekends Position Salary Range $25-45/hour with experience General Responsibilities

Implement the instructional elements of an approved program, including theory, skills, and clinical. Instructors will utilize multiple teaching methods, including online instruction, face to face skills training and simulation activities. Instructors will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the student clinical experience, when appropriate..

Work Performed

* Assess student engagement/understanding during each class

* Collect, grade and report assignments and homework

* Assess and monitor student progress and understanding while providing meaningful feedback

* Provide academic advice and guidance to students

* Maintain and update course materials and syllabus to maintain current industry best practices

* Online instruction and face-to-face skills instruction

Minimum Education Required Minimum Number of Years Experience Required Other Knowledge Required

* Credential in the specified healthcare field..

* Certification must be current.

* Minimum three years' experience in the specified healthcare field..

* Prior teaching experience as an instructor in healthcare training programs is a plus.

* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are a must.

* Exhibit a strong desire to support student success and prepare students for employment in healthcare.
