General Function/Role Purpose:

The Revenue Accounting Analyst will play a key role in managing and analyzing financial accounts to optimize revenue integrity and accuracy. This role will review and adjust revenue associated with contract modifications, ensure precise documentation of sales orders, and contribute to critical financial reporting processes. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills to support both routine reconciliations and strategic financial projects, ensuring compliance and facilitating efficient audit processes.

Primary Duties:

* Revenue Analysis and Account Resolution: Conduct detailed analyses of revenue accounts to identify discrepancies or issues, determining the most effective course of action to resolve inaccuracies and enhance account integrity.

* Contract Revenue Review: Scrutinize revenue implications of contract modifications, ensuring all adjustments adhere to contractual agreements and accounting standards to maintain revenue accuracy and compliance.

* Sales Order Accuracy Assessment: Thoroughly assess each sales order along with its supporting documentation to confirm accuracy and completeness, ensuring all transactions are fully compliant with internal policies and external regulations.

* Stakeholder Inquiry Response: Provide timely and professional responses to inquiries from internal stakeholders regarding revenue transactions and reporting, enhancing communication and understanding across departments.

* Month-End Financial Reconciliation and Reporting: Assist in executing comprehensive month-end reconciliation processes, participate in accounting activities, and contribute to the preparation of detailed financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial closings.

* Achievement of Contract Billing Metrics: Monitor and meet key billing metrics associated with contracts, collaborate with team members to identify and implement strategies for performance improvement to streamline billing processes and enhance financial outcomes.

* Revenue Team Support for Projects and Process Improvements: Support a variety of projects aimed at improving revenue team efficiency and effectiveness, including the development and refinement of revenue management processes and tools.

* Audit Assistance: Collaborate in preparing and organizing required documentation and financial records for interim and annual audits, ensuring adherence to audit timelines and compliance with financial regulations.

* Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

* Accounting or Finance degree or equivalent accounting-related work experience preferred

* Two (2) years revenue cycle experience with an emphasis on accounts receivable processes required or industry expertise preferred

* Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word and Excel) with experience in Sales Force and ERP systems, i.e., NetSuite preferred

* SAP experience required

* Familiarity with ASC606 and SOX compliance requirements

* Strong organizational skills with ability to effectively manage large amounts of detailed data

* Analytical, meticulous, and organized, with well-developed written and oral communication skills

* Experience with reading and interpreting contractual language

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to adapt to fast-paced work environment and thrives on challenges

* Able to work independently with minimal supervision

* Proficient at multi-tasking and meeting deadlines

* Self-motivated with a willingness to learn new skills and concepts

Working Conditions

Normal office environment. Some travel may be required.
