Exciting Opportunity for a Field Service Technician!


Are you a skilled technician with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for customer service? Do you have experience in mechanical service and repair? If so, we have an incredible opportunity for you to join a dynamic team in the building materials manufacturing industry!


We are seeking a Field Service Technician who can provide top-notch service and support to our customers. This role involves traveling to customer locations to perform product installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and training. The ideal candidate will be independent, proactive, and capable of building strong customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Support: Respond to service requests, identify problems through probing questions, and provide efficient solutions.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain positive relationships with customers, promoting the company s quality image and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Sales Support: Promote and sell parts and service agreements, assist with equipment sales.
  • Technical Expertise: Perform troubleshooting and repairs, design and write service manuals, develop and present training for operators and maintenance personnel.
  • Travel: Travel to customer locations for installations, maintenance, repairs, and training. Ability to travel up to 80% of the time


Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Outstanding customer relations and communication skills.
  • Experience with CAD software is a plus.
  • Prior experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, or Field Service Engineer preferred.
  • Passport or ability to acquire passport for International travel

Education/Experience:

  • 2-year mechanical technical degree, trade/technical school diploma, or 5 years of experience in mechanical service and repair.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to handle a wide range of situations and personalities.
  • Able to work well under pressure and tight timelines, maintaining a team spirit and cooperative attitude.
  • High level of customer service, responding to customer needs and expectations.
