Our valued client, a premier accounting firm with a strong track record, is actively seeking an experienced and motivated Accounting and Tax Manager to seamlessly join their local team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting and empowering small businesses, making an impact in the field of financial expertise.
As the Accounting & Tax Manager your primary responsibility will be to supervise the monthly accounting and tax process while providing outstanding personal service to a portfolio of small business clients. You ll help interact with clients on a frequent basis and ensure systems keep workflow running smoothly throughout the year. As a primary contact person, you will provide exceptional personal service to clients in long-lasting working relationships.

Responsibilities:
- Offer insights, real-time planning, and act as a valuable resource for a specific segment of our clientele.
- Take charge of overseeing the monthly accounting and tax processes, all while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Cultivate and nurture meaningful relationships with your designated clientele.

- Effectively supervise, lead, and enhance the professional skills of the accounting team, leveraging your unique talents to uplift your colleagues.

- Communicate directly and conscientiously with both our team and clients.
Requirements:
- CPA or EA certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting supervisory or managerial experience is required.
- 2 years of prior experience in tax return preparation (1040, 1065, 1120) is a prerequisite.
- At least 3 years of experience working within a CPA firm.
Preferred:
- A fervent dedication to small businesses and their prosperity is essential.
- Proficiency in engaging with a diverse array of small business owners.
- Possess an upbeat, confident, and approachable demeanor.
- Preferred QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification.
- Proficiency in using and adapting to new technology is a must for this role.
