This position offers an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished legal expert to engage in close collaboration with the General Counsel, overseeing legal risks across diverse domains encompassing contracts, litigation, mergers and acquisitions, as well as strategic business development initiatives.
Key Highlights:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a diverse range of commercial agreements, offering valuable insight on both legal and strategic dimensions across various transactions.
- Provide comprehensive legal counsel to stakeholders at all organizational levels, including business teams, on matters such as customer contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic business development initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of corporate policies, procedures, and programs addressing legal matters and their implications, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and Texas bar association admission, or other qualification to practice in-house in Texas.
- Eight or more years of law firm or in-house experience, with experience drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements.
- Display solid business acumen along with effective leadership qualities. Foster collaboration across business functions to achieve organizational goals.
