Our client is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of software and hardware development across diverse markets. They are seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join their expanding team.
Position Overview:
In partnership with our client, we are searching for a Senior Accounting Analyst to support their financial operations. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role will be instrumental in maintaining financial integrity and driving growth. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in corporate accounting, with a focus on general ledger management, balance sheet reconciliation, and fixed asset oversight. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential, with familiarity with SOX compliance preferred.
Location: North side of Indianapolis, with a hybrid schedule available.
Responsibilities:
- Manage general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct regular balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Oversee fixed asset accounting, including tracking and depreciation.
- Support SOX compliance efforts through documentation and process improvement.
- Analyze large datasets to extract insights and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in corporate accounting, with focus areas mentioned.
- Familiarity with SOX compliance standards preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- CPA designation desirable but not required.
Salary Range:
$80,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience.
