TransPerfect, a world leader in professional translation/interpretation and global marketing services, is currently looking for interpreters in Washington State for on-site dental interpretation assignments. Please take a look at the description below:
- English <> American Sign Language
- Service: Onsite Simultaneous Interpretation
- Date: TBD ongoing assignments (approx. 10/month)
- Location: Washigton, USA
- Subject matter: Dental appointments (procedures, surgery, cleanings, etc)
Interested candidates must meet at least one of the following requirements:
- 2 years of sign language interpretation experience and a college degree in Interpreting, Deaf Studies and other fields.
- 5 years of sign language interpretation experience and no college degree.
- At least one of the following national certifications by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID):
o NIC
o NIC Advanced
o NIC Master
o CT
o CI
o NAD III
o NAD IV
o NAD V
- A certificate of competence in sign language interpretation awarded by an appropriate government body (court state certification, federal certification, etc.).
