Responsibilities
- Oversee the operational aspects of the department, including personnel, processes, and equipment, to optimize productivity, reduce costs, and minimize waste.
- Manage production supervisors and operators, ensuring all production equipment runs efficiently.
- Lead safety initiatives, training programs, and performance evaluations across the division.
- Expertise in blown film processes, troubleshooting, and equipment management is essential.
- Monitor production quality continuously, making decisions to maintain high production rates and quality standards efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, regulations, and procedures.
- Collaborate closely with scheduling and maintenance teams to optimize production schedules and equipment installation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production.
- Proficient in computer applications.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Plastic Extrusion mandatory.
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks.
- Dedicated to providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships.
- This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining safety and environmental health standards in compliance with local and national regulations.
