Position title Part Time Front Desk Team Member Description Portsmouth Music and Arts Center (PMAC) is seeking an energetic individual to join our Front Desk Team! This individual should possess strong customer service skills, be self-motivated, organized and embrace creativity. The ideal candidate would be available for three days a week at our location in Portsmouth, NH.

Responsibilities Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, basic job responsibilities are as follows:

* Greet students and parents when they arrive for onsite programs at PMAC

* Possess strong customer service skills and be friendly to all persons who enter in our space and who contact us via phone or email

* Enforce Covid-19 Safety Protocols for all persons who are onsite

* Support teaching artists and administrative staff within a variety of projects and/or office related tasks

* Handle tuition payments and donations

* Have strong communication skills - both in person, via phone and via email

* Be able to learn new software programs quickly - registration and donation programs

* Be able to lift and move equipment around PMAC - up to 40 pounds

* Knowledgeable on Google Workspace products - gmail, gcal, google drive, etc.

* Attend monthly staff meetings

* Be self motivated and able to create projects that are needed without direct supervision

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preference will be given to individuals that are creative and have a passion for music and visual arts - either as a student or a local fan.
