Site Superintendent


Job Details

The Superintendent leads, directs and coordinates the work of subcontractors and is responsible for ensuring safety, schedule delivery, quality of work performed and adherence to budget of the project. The Superintendent is responsible for efficiently managing all field resources, including providing overall direction and guidance to field superintendents and foremen, in collaboration with project engineers, construction managers, and project managers.


Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Willingness to work alongside subcontractors to ensure timely completion of each project.
  • Ability to provide daily reporting on project progress.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to adapt to various client needs for project reporting.
  • Coordination of job site deliveries, logistics and attention to detail
  • Ability to create and maintain a clean, safe, secure, and healthy work environment by enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
  • A positive and proactive demeanor, with a high level of resilience and resourcefulness
  • Communicate and work well with others.
  • 5+ Years of Supervisory and/or project management experience.
  • Ability to create a safe working environment and drive all projects to achieve the highest level of safety.
  • Working knowledge of 5 project Management Steps (Initiate, Plan, Execute, Monitor, Closure)


Position Requirements:

  • Must have a Valid Driver s License
  • OSHA 30, LEED or PMP Certification(s) are a plus but not required.
  • Medium physical requirements including the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Willingness to travel on a weekly basis for extended periods of time.
  • Willingness to work overnights and weekends when called upon to do so.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to give clear, concise instructions to others.
  • Must pass pre-employment medical and background screening.
  • Previous experience with retail remodels is a plus, however not mandatory.


Additional Information:

This position will be a full-time salary position with full benefits including, medical, dental and vision plans, paid vacation, participation in the company 401K program, and paid holidays. All travel expenses will be paid with company credit card and governed by a daily per diem. Salary will be commensurate with candidate s experience.
