**Description**

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for providing the cook room with a blend of tomato paste and water which has been mixed to specification. The machinery utilized is a paste extractor and ribbon blender. This position must adhere to all quality standards. Due to the dynamic nature of our business, duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

Enter paste bin info into inventory. Account for each bin of paste used correctly

Empty tomato paste into the ribbon blender using the paste extractor and transfer to the proper paste tank

Operators must follow instructions to achieve desired brix standards

Open lids on paste bins to prepare for blending

Keep proper records on paste pumper sheets and account for all bins used

Keep extractor and areas clean at all times

Break down wooden bins and stack wood. Tag with appropriate supplier paper

Notify cook operators of any paste supplier changes or procedural changes

Sweep warehouse #4

Adhere to all Red Gold policies, rules, and regulations, including GMPs and safety

Work as a team player with members of the crew and others in the plant

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma, General Educational Development Diploma (GED) or equivalent experience

Must be able to understand and carry out instructions while performing manual labor related tasks

Must be able to successfully use basic math and writing skills necessary to complete the required paperwork
