Description

  • Create the basis for a decarbonization program for our operational sites in California.

o Research scope 1, 2 & 3 emission in Port Operations.

o Identify reporting requirements for scope 3 indirect emissions & current customers under this regulation.

o Create a template and replicable process for quantifying our location's GHG footprint.
  • Work with various operations groups to identify, create, and implement required environmental programs/plans such as SWPPP, SPCC and Monitoring/Sampling.

o Research pertinent environmental regulations.

o Review Nautilus environmental policies.

o Conduct an audit of a representative sample of environmental policies.

o Draft recommendations as a result of the audit.
  • Assist in environmental audits of facilities.


Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a valid internship program at an approved University or College.
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Have a thorough understanding of environmental regulations and their applications.
  • Have a thorough familiarization of environmental plans, their construction, and the elements within.
  • Be able to conduct research and develop recommendations.
  • Be competent in Microsoft.
