Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to children with developmental delays in a both a home and public setting
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and social development.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and light household chores related to childcare.
- Establish a nurturing and supportive relationship with each child, understanding their individual needs and preferences.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the children, ensuring their well-being at all times.
- Serve as a positive role model for the children, demonstrating patience, responsibility, and empathy in all interactions.
Qualifications:
- Genuine passion for working with children with varying developmental abilities and supporting their growth and development.
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and their families.
- Patience, understanding, and empathy towards children, recognizing and respecting their individuality.
- CPR and first aid certification may be required (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
