Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking Janitors to work with a top energy and utility company in the Moundsville, WV area. This company is highly reputable with several awards for growth, equality, and safety.
- Must be willing to work rotating shifts.
JOB SUMMARY: Perform manual duties in power plants to maintain cleanliness and neat appearance of the facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - General housekeeping and area clean up which includes but is not limited to: cleaning floors, washing off equipment, visual operation checks, trash removal, sweep/clean burner decks, cleaning of restrooms/locker rooms/break rooms.
- Dust/Spill Management
- Empty Dumpsters
- Fill kerosene heaters.
- Snow/ice removal.
- Provide visual support to drivers who are unloading fuel trucks.
- Conveyor greasing.
- Manage tool room: track tool inventory, scan tools in and out, perform rigging checks.
- Replace drain pig mats for environmental safety.
- Fire checks: monthly fire extinguisher checks, post indicator valve checks, fire hose testing, flip hoses on reel.
- Mow grounds and patch holes in roadway.
- Painting.
- Change light bulbs.
- Small plumbing issues.
- Assist during wet coal situations.
- Perform duties in accordance with the Company's safety rules and operating regulations and practices and report unsafe conditions and practices.
- Report irregularities or abnormal conditions.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Completed High School Diploma or GED.
- Successful completion of the Plant Operator Selection System (POSS) and the Plant Maintenance Selection System (MASS) tests.
- Safety-focused, Punctual, Team Oriented, Respectful, and Motivated.
