Position Description:
The Fabrication Technician will be responsible for performing fluid power mechanical assembly work by:
Assembling products of high complexity that may require fitting, alignment, and adjustment of components, units, and assemblies to close tolerances.
Ability to work with broad range of hand tools, shop equipment, and measuring instruments.
Understand the functional operation of the items assembled and be capable of making modifications and part substitutions as needed
Must be able to understand and work from simple to complex assembly schematics as well as written and verbal communication
Certification Requirements (not required at time of hire but must attain):
Fork Lift Safety/Operational Certification
Fluid Power Certification-Technician and/or Specialist
A.W.S. Welding Certification

Read and understand fluid power schematic, BOM, arrangement and fabrication drawings

Electrical
Device wiring to terminal strip
Read and understand elementary electrical schematic drawings
Basic electrical knowledge
Test
Able to configure equipment for flow, pressure and functional test
Use measuring devices to collect data
Record findings and validate within parameters of design
