**We are seeking a** ***Member Service Representative*** **to join our family!** Central Missouri Electric Cooperative is a distribution cooperative serving the electric needs of over 11,000 meters in Pettis, Saline, and northern Benton counties. The cooperative's home office is located just north of Sedalia, Missouri.

Primary objectives of the Member Service Representative are:
* Serve as the front line of communication for member and general public interactions.
* Provide prompt and courteous service via telephone, email and in-person.
* Respond to member concerns and inquiries.
* Process payments and daily bank deposits efficiently and accurately and ensure accurate accounting of transactions.
* Maintain accurate and complete member records in a timely fashion, including, but not limited to, contact tracking and notes.
**Primary Responsibilities**
* Receive payments through the cash register.
* Process payments by mail, phone, in-person and electronically.
* Balance a cash drawer daily.
* Initiate and process change of service requests for connects, disconnects, and transfers.
* Review and determine appropriate action of delinquent accounts.
* Assist with scanning member documents to the document vault.
* Provide support to the Accounting, Communications, and Operations departments as needed.
**Technical Qualifications**
Education
* Two-year degree in customer or member relations, accounting, office support, or similar degree
Experience
* Office Suite
* 2-years customer or member service preferred
* Cash handling and cash drawer balancing preferred
