**Overview**
As a Facilities Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility management, including janitorial duties, to support our biopharma client in Tampa, FL. Your primary duties will include:
Maintenance Oversight:
+ Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities for critical facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and laboratory equipment.
+ Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
+ Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
Janitorial Services:
+ Manage janitorial staff responsible for cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, including laboratories, production areas, offices, and common areas.
+ Ensure that janitorial tasks are completed according to schedule and meet quality standards.
+ Procure and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Vendor Management:
+ Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors providing janitorial services, including negotiating contracts, evaluating performance, and ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
+ Coordinate with procurement teams to source necessary janitorial supplies and services.
Safety and Compliance:
+ Implement and enforce safety protocols related to janitorial activities to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
+ Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA guidelines, OSHA regulations, and industry best practices, regarding janitorial services.
+ Conduct regular inspections of janitorial work areas to identify and address potential hazards.
Operational Support:
+ Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support the operational needs of the biopharma client, including coordinating facility modifications, expansions, or relocations.
+ Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and provide technical expertise to resolve issues effectively.
Reporting and Documentation:
+ Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, janitorial tasks, equipment inventory, and compliance documentation.
+ Generate reports and performance metrics to track facility performance and identify areas for improvement.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
+ Proven experience in facility management, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotech environment.
+ Strong knowledge of facility systems and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
+ Experience managing janitorial services and ensuring cleanliness standards are met.
+ Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
+ Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
