The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in managing financial records and preparing financial reports. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for assisting the Controller and contributing to the financial well being of the organization.Responsibilities:- Assists in processing accounting transactions and functions- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts- Perform balance sheet reconciliation and monthly recurring journal entries- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvement- Develop and maintain financial databases and systems- Support with month-end and year-end close processes- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results- Manage, collaborate and mentor junior accounting staff- Assists with document management to ensure confidentiality in accordance with Standard Operating ProceduresRequirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance- CPA certification preferred- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, finance or related experience- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Detail-oriented and organizedWhy you want to work for LifeCenter
