Responsibilities

Recruit, hire and train personnel to staff appropriately for store goals
Effectively manage inventory to maximize profitability
Ensure customer concerns are handled in accordance with dealership policies
Meet dealership sales objectives
Stay current on all franchise programs to ensure compliance and maximize participation and return
Work effectively with service to ensure timely time-to-line metrics
Meet manufacturer customer satisfaction goals
Work with owners to establish goals and work toward goals while maintaining employee culture and customer satisfaction
Attend all meetings as required
Lead all variable ops meetings, and ensure that each department is holding meetings to stay on the same page and focused on dealership goals
Ensure compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws related to dealership operations
Analyze and track relevant and agreed upon metrics for accountability and growth purposes

Qualifications

At least 5 years experience in an automotive leadership role
Possess a state-issued driver's license and acceptable driving record to operate dealership-owned vehicles
Understanding of the auto industry and its trends
High school diploma is mandatory; a bachelor's degree is preferred
The ability to interpret profit and loss statements and display strong leadership and communication skills is critical
