General purpose of the job

The primary objective is to monitor equipment condition on a continuous basis and analyze trends in order to ascertain the required maintenance interventions (mechanical & electrical) necessary to maximize equipment reliability, performance and life expectancy, at the lowest possible cost, while maintaining the production functions.

Individual accountabilities

  • Systematic inspections of all assigned plant equipment.
  • Analysis data collected, completed work orders, and process data in order to initiate appropriate maintenance work orders which include a detailed scope of work.
  • Non-systematic inspections (repetitive problems, validate work requests, daily incidents).
  • Manage and Drive the PPM Program.
  • Quality Assurance of Execution work done on and off site, and of materials received.
  • Support Plant Safety Program.
  • Document and monitor equipment history files.
  • Provide technical support for plant activities and the maintenance functions.
  • Coach/mentor plant employees.
  • Effective communication.
  • Active role in budget preparation, forecast updating and compliance.
  • Assigned administrative duties.

Education

  • Minimum AA degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent industry experience.

  • Must have HS Diploma/GED.

Technical knowledge and certifications

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Excellent communications skills.

  • Proficient computer skills.

  • Must have current training and experience using Advanced Detection Techniques (Vibration Analysis, Oil Analysis, Thermo-graphics, NDT).

Languages

English C2: Native - Advanced

Annual Salary Range from $78,448.03 to $108,955.60
