+ Prioritize workflow to accommodate events, tastings, and product demonstrations.

+ Organize a workstation to work efficiently, cleanly, and in a manner reflective of Mission Barns Standards.

+ Fulfill deadlines in accordance with your direct supervisor's instruction.

+ Note taking and meticulous documentation.

+ Liaise with vendors and distributors to replenish ingredients or source new material.

+ Participate in product demonstrations, in house tastings, focus groups, and sensory panels.

+ Research and/or understand consumer trends

+ Translate challenges/trends into actionable culinary application

+ Offer extensive culinary skills for development projects

+ Lead culinary development projects (i.e. recipe development, culinary presentations)

+ Replicate current formulas.

+ Maintain inventory of both in house supplies and bench top prototypes.

+ Coordinate with other team members in efforts relating to accomplishing directives.

+ Able to work independently as well as within a team environment.

+ Multitask different projects while maintaining a high standard.

**Physical requirements**

+ Must be able to meet these requirements with or without accommodations

+ Ability to stand on your feet for up to 10 hours with legally required breaks, where applicable.

+ Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance.

+ Ability to follow basic verbal directions as instructed by applicable supervisors and team members.

+ Ability to operate heavy machinery in a fast paced environment.

+ Ability to handle fluctuation in temperature associated with ovens, cooling environments, or sterile rooms.

+ 1-3 years experience in Culinary Arts, Food Science, Product Development, or related field.

+ B.S. in culinary arts, RCA, nutrition, or food science is a plus.
