This a full-time, hourly position, working Sunday through Thursday from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM flexible, as needed. This positions are located in Enterprise, FL.

What You Need
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required or Associate degree in human services, social services or related fields of study and at least one (1) year of experience working in a child welfare and/or case management; or any combination of training, education and experience which would provide the required knowledge, abilities and skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Regularly requires flexible work hours based on the needs of the program including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed or requested by the position supervisor.
  • Provide ongoing administrative support to Case Managers.
  • Support the case manager in the timely collection and completion of required documentation for youth in care.
  • Assist with incoming and outgoing calls in the management of caseloads.
  • Send the code letter to the sponsor when necessary
  • Assist in the discharge process, by coordinating the purchasing of flight tickets, the pickups, completing the discharge packet, and transporting the minors to the airport if needed.
  • Responsible to conduct the 30-day follow-up phone call in each case and providing the information to the LCM in a timely manner.
  • Assist with internal file monitoring.
  • Participate in regular training and communication sessions with supervisor and staff;
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and familiarity with the Florida United Methodist Children's Home along with the Board of Child Care and Office of Refugee Resettlement Policy and Procedures relating to the care and supervision of Unaccompanied Children. This includes knowledge of legal background and authority governing the practice as related to working with Unaccompanied Children.
  • Ensure filing compliance in accordance to ORR and state regulations related to positions documentation responsibility.
  • Special projects as assigned by Program Director
  • Other duties as assigned.
