Job Details

Purpose:

Responsible for managing all aspects of the operations within the location (Inferno and Rum Runners) including the selection, development, and performance management of

restaurant employees, optimizing profits, and increasing sales.

Measurements of Success:
Restaurant/ Club is fully staffed to par.
All employees are validated in appropriate positions.
Overtime costs are minimized by accurately projecting daily labor goals.
Profits optimized by monitoring actual costs against ideal costs. Liquor, Beer, and Wine

Labor cost is controlled by accurate scheduling and forecasting to sales.

Areas of Responsibility:
Manage operations during scheduled shifts that include daily decision making, staff support, guest interaction, scheduling, planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness.
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date workforce plan of staffing. Prepares schedules and ensures that the store is staffed for all shifts.
Staff, train and develop hourly employees through orientations, ongoing feedback, and by conducting performance reviews on a regular basis.
Identify operational opportunities to build sales and control costs; develop and implement plans to address opportunities (i.e., R&M, marketing)
Ensure proper security procedures are in place to protect employees, guests, and Company assets, including security of beer storeroom and office.
Prepare end of day reports including Daily Sales and Labor and Daily Sales Reports.
Directly supervise 20-30 employees.
Ensure a safe working environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents through continual repair and maintenance of restaurant.
Recruits and interviews potential job candidates to be considered for final approval.
Has authority to discipline and terminate hourly employees.
Respond to guest service complaints either in person or over the phone, taking all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.
Responsible for all financial (invoices, reporting) and personnel/payroll related administrative.
