**Room Attendant**
Full-Time in Bar Harbor, ME - Hskg We believe in providing warm, genuine service to all of our guests. As a housekeeper, it starts with you. The Bar Harbor Motel is looking for a full-time housekeeper to join the Witham Team.
Housekeepers safely and efficiently clean guest rooms to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction. Attention to detail, cleanliness and overall positive attitude makes you valuable to our team.
**Housekeeping Responsibilities:**
**Cleaning Guest rooms, bathrooms and other hotel spaces.**
Each guest is important to not only our business but to our town as well. You are responsible for cleaning, disinfecting and maintaining a neat and safe environment for each guest as well as the hotel. This includes, but not limited to, the hotel lobby, lobby bathrooms, and any other areas in and around the motel.
**Positive, and upbeat attitude.**
You will be interacting with guests of all ages and cultures. A simple smile followed by a "Hello," "Good morning/afternoon/evening," can ensure that they are acknowledged and feel welcome to our properties.
**Stocking supply closets**
You will be required to stock, and organize, housekeeping closets and your housekeeping cart each day. Being prepared is a key component to making the job run smoothly. Inventory of cleaning supplies and other essential items need to be logged and ordered on time. This helps to ensure each housekeeper has the products they need to preform their job duties.
**Flexible schedule**
In order to keep up with the occupancy of the motel, you will be required to work on weekends and other times if needed. There is no set schedule as the number of guests visiting change everyday.
**Efficiency and overall appearance**
You will be required to come to work clean and professional. You will be on your feet for most of the day. Non slip comfortable shoes will be needed. Uniforms will be supplied by the motel and worn everyday while at work.
Preform other duties assigned by your supervisor or manager on duty.
**Skills and Requirements:**
* Excellent working knowledge of cleaning appliances and proper use of cleaning agents.
* Attention to detail
* Efficiency and urgency when cleaning rooms
* Strength and stamina needed to work extended periods of time
* Positive attitude
* Flexible work schedule
**Physical Demands:**
* Extended periods of standing and walking, bending, twisting, kneeling, carrying and lifting.
* Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
* Ability to perform repetitive motions, to reach, handle, grasp and communicate.
**Additional Eligibility Qualifications:**
* Depending on federal and state guidelines, applicants may be required to complete COVID-19 test and/or quarantine for 10 days before beginning employment.
