Specially, IW Group is looking for a senior-level data analyst. This person will have a passion for telling brand stories with data (via social media metrics, proprietary and syndicated qualitative/quantitative research), and will play a pivotable role in helping the agency/clients understand market opportunities, industry trends, competitive landscapes, etc. The right candidate will have at least 6-8 years of relevant agency/client experience, and a hunger to learn and contribute to a dynamic agency. This position will be focused on growing client business and agency scope, thus having extensive experience presenting to and managing client relationships is required.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills to effectively manage daily client data and research.
  • Extract insights from data to develop conclusive recommendations.
  • Put together well-thought-out strategic directions and visually impactful presentations to clients and leadership.
  • Foster and maintain excellent working relationships with clients actively shaping their decisions while managing both client and agency expectations.
  • Exhibit a growth mindset, proactively seeking opportunities to expand client business and broaden the agency's scope of work by supporting new business opportunities.
  • Supervise and mentor junior members of the department providing guidance and support in their professional development and day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Stay ahead of cultural and social trends relevant to our clients/industries in order to interpret and monitor their impact.
  • Cultivate credibility across all agency departments, autonomously leading strategic thinking initiatives.
  • Actively engage in community involvement initiatives, leveraging and encouraging support for meaningful community connections.


MINIMUM JOB REQUIRMENTS:

Education:

  • Minimum of a bachelor s degree in psychology, communications, statistics, or a related field of study required


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 6-8 years of professional work experience in account planning, strategic planning, consumer research preferably in a client setting or within an award-winning agency
  • Experience and interest in automotive highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of diverse audiences (particularly Asian and Gen Z) highly preferred.
  • Must be willing and able to travel (up to 20%).
  • Knowledge of statistical tools and business reporting.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Great people-person.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Ability to tell stories with data in a simple and visually impactful way.
  • Must be extremely comfortable with data and working with data.
  • Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, sound judgment, and a positive attitude.
  • Computer knowledge required (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
  • Bilingual skills highly preferred.

HYBRID WORK MODEL:

  • IW Group has adopted a hybrid work model. Managers set their own in-office schedule, but team members are requested to work in-office at least twice per week.
  • While performing the responsibilities of this role, the employee will spend most of the time working indoors, in the IW Group office, client office or other identified location.
  • This role may require extended work hours (including nights and weekends) to complete certain projects, with or without advance notice.
  • This role may require work outside of the office (e.g., client events) or travel outside of the local work area (e.g., client locations).
