Senior Project Manager - Oregon/Nevada


The preferred candidate will possess experience in overseeing projects from inception to completion. This individual will craft a comprehensive plan, considering fixed timelines and assessing potential risks. Moreover, they should demonstrate proficiency in personnel management and possess strong communication skills.



Responsibilities


  • Demonstrate exemplary leadership and cultivate harmonious relationships with staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
  • Assure the attainment of project objectives encompassing safety, quality, scheduling, training, and profitability, with dedicated adherence to safety protocols and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Ensure comprehensive understanding and compliance with contractual obligations among all stakeholders.
  • Oversee procurement processes to optimize resource utilization while adhering to stringent safety, quality, scheduling, training, and profitability standards.
  • Uphold and champion the organizational vision and mission within the project team.
  • Provide diligent supervision of project personnel while meticulously managing budgetary allocations.
  • Facilitate essential project initiation meetings and maintain site visits.
  • Ensure documentation and adherence to procedural guidelines in change order issuance and project documentation.
  • Effectively document and communicate project delays, implementing appropriate measures for schedule adherence.
  • Oversee the timely completion and submission of status reports and project deliverables.



Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; and a minimum of ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have a minimum of seven continuous years total profit and loss accountability on multiple projects.
  • Must have minimum of five years experience managing all disciplines for design/build projects.
  • Must have experience in all contracting methods such as lump sum, GMP, cost plus construction management and fee based construction. Must understand legal aspects and implications of contractual language.
  • Must have proven record in increasing project profitability from the initial project profit margin on multiple projects.
  • Must have managed all project activities on a minimum of three projects in excess of ten million dollars in construction costs; or one project in excess of 50 million dollars.
  • Must be sufficiently knowledgeable in technical aspects of engineering and design disciplines to represent the company as the "primary point of contact" in initial project discussions with customers. Must be thoroughly knowledgeable of costs and fees associated with the variety of engineering and design disciplines.
  • Must be thoroughly knowledgeable of the impact caused by multiple changes in either the design, engineering or construction phases and how they impact the overall project, from the cost, schedule, construction management and construction operations perspectives. Must be knowledgeable of when and how to address these issues with customers.
