Manager Applications Development

Remote with preference for applicant to live in Colorado

Contract-to-hire

Pay: $50-$80/hour DOE


This position will oversee and lead a team of professionals dedicated to developing, enhancing and maintaining the functionality and efficiency of the Salesforce platform. The role will ensure delivery of applications to standards as well as specifications and seamless transition of the developed applications to a support model across multiple orgs and business use cases. This role will also contribute to defining optimal support processes and workflows for each application built on the Salesforce platform and ensure that new enhancements and projects are successfully transitioned to the support teams. This role will also support the onboarding and compliance adherence for Guest Teammates and consultants who are retained for large programs of Salesforce related work.


Responsibilities include:

  • Manages employees and sets clear team goals.
  • Develops standards and best practices for Salesforce Delivery and Support.
  • Oversees day-to-day operation of the team.
  • Monitors team performance and reports on metrics based on Jira and Service Now data
  • Monitor performance of teams and applications against SLAs
  • Report and present to leadership applications related statuses and metrics
  • Identifies training needs and provides coaching when necessary.
  • Creates and maintains documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help-related materials for users.
  • Monitors application performance and usage.
  • Identifies trends based on data/metrics.
  • Partners with business stakeholders to prioritize issues requiring development.
  • Partners with Development team to provide necessary details for resolution.
  • Performs analysis to guide maintenance activities across the platform including archiving, field usage, page layouts, workflows and files.
  • Monitors integrations inbound and outbound from the Salesforce platform
  • Provides assistance with support of other integrated tools on the platform such as Conga
  • Anticipates, initiates, and performs hiring, training, promotion and termination.
  • Provides employees the resources and opportunities for both technical and professional training and development.
  • Develops a plan for each employee that results in the achievement of professional certifications.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.


EDUCATION DESIRED

Bachelor s degree or comparable experience and/or training


EXPERIENCE DESIRED

  • Minimum of two years of experience leading support teams.
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
  • Experience being able to understand and articulate complex requirements.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification preferred.
